GUEST LECTURE FOR 11TH GRADE STUDENTS

Milk and dairy products are an integral part of every person’s diet and play an important role in providing the body with nutrients. That is why the issue of their quality is extremely relevant.

As part of career guidance work, the assistant of the Department of Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology of Animals, Tetiana Kuchkova, gave a guest lecture for 11th grade students of Lebedyn Secondary Education Institution No. 1 on the topic:

“What determines the quality of milk and dairy products.”

During the meeting, the students got acquainted with the main factors that affect the quality of milk. It was revealed why milk can differ in composition and how this affects the quality and yield of dairy products.

Special attention was paid to practical aspects: the students learned how to determine possible falsification of milk at home and what to pay attention to when choosing it.

The lecture contributed to expanding the students’ knowledge and forming interest in modern aspects of dairy production.

We sincerely thank the class teacher Anastasia Gerasimenko for her help in organizing the meeting.
