1993 — A. S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University, specialty “English and German Languages,” qualification: teacher of English and German.

2008 — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.04 “Theory and Methods of Professional Education.” Dissertation: “Developing future agricultural specialists’ readiness to implement international professional programs” (Institute of Higher Education of the NAPS of Ukraine) (abstract).

2011 — Awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor (Department of Humanities).

Since 2026 — Master’s student in Specialty H2 “Livestock Production,” specialization “Cynology,” SNAU.

Professional Experience

Main courses taught: “Ethology and Semiology of Dogs,” “Fundamentals of Dog Breeding and Reproduction”; English, English for Specific Purposes, English for Academic Purposes.

Cynology specialization: in 2018, qualified as a “Cynologist-Expert” of the Cynological Union of Ukraine / FCI (Certificate No. 134-18 dated 22.05.2018). Since 2017, lecturer of the course “Training of Interpreter-Assistants for Conformation Judges” at SNAU. Her experience covers cynological terminology, description of dog conformation, professional communication in cynological judging, training interpreter-assistants, and developing teaching materials for cynology education.

Academic expertise: expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance; Non-Resident Scholar at the College of Humanities and Sciences, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Harvard University (01.07.2024 – 30.06.2025); peer reviewer for international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Experienced in designing and teaching ESP courses and digital courses.

Research Work

Research interests: dog ethology and behavior; dog semiology and communicative behavior; professional training of cynologists; fundamentals of dog breeding and reproduction; dog conformation and its terminology; cynological judging; English for Specific Purposes; critical thinking and reflective practice; assessment and testing; disciplinary literacy; digital technologies and AI in professional training.
