The new 2025/2026 academic year at our faculty started in a festive and working atmosphere. The event was held in a mixed format, bringing together students, teachers, and university administration. The Rector of the University, Ihor Kovalenko, the Dean of the Faculty, Viktoriia Vechorka, the Head of the Department for Organization of Educational Work with Students, Viktoriia Zaiarna, the Student Dean of the Faculty, Karina Zaika, the Student Rector Andrii Kolodenko, and the student government activists addressed the audience with warm words of greeting. They wished the first-year students successful adaptation, inspiration to study, and active participation in the social life of the faculty.
During the event, students were introduced to the faculty structure and met the curators of the academic groups. The main areas of focus for the upcoming academic year were also outlined. A special part of the event was the honoring of 3rd-year student Albina Nehoroshkova, who received the Rector’s Acknowledgement for her academic and social achievements, as well as her conscientious approach to her responsibilities on the occasion of Knowledge Day. The atmosphere of the event once again confirmed that the Faculty of Biology and Technology is a large, friendly family where student initiative is valued.
