THE FACULTY OF BIOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGY OF SNAU PRESENTED ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WITHIN THE WINTER SCHOOL

On January 8, 2026, within the SNAU Winter School 2026, the Faculty of Biology and Technology hosted a vibrant career guidance event for high school students. The event was part of the university’s large-scale initiative to introduce students to the educational opportunities at SNAU, the modern learning environment, and the practical aspects of future professions.

The event began with welcoming remarks from the Dean of the faculty, after which the participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of student life through a series of interactive quest tours.

– Introduction to the educational and professional program “Cynology”;

– Presentation of the cynologist profession;

– Masterclass on dog training: basics of training service and domestic animals;

– Introduction to the “Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products” program;

– “Meat Stop”: tasting of meat and sausage products with comments from technologists;

– “Dairy Glade”: identification of dairy products by organoleptic indicators;

– Research station: quality testing of dairy products using microscopes, pH meters, and other instruments;

– “Water World”: aquaculture demonstration.

The event concluded with a summary, sharing impressions, and an invitation to join the Faculty of Biology and Technology at SNAU.
