On April 29, 2026, the Department of Feed Technology and Animal Nutrition hosted a scientific seminar titled: “The influence of technological factors on the fattening and reproductive performance of pigs, and the slaughter and physicochemical qualities of meat.”
Scientific and pedagogical staff, students, and everyone interested in modern approaches to the development of the pig farming industry participated in the event. During the seminar, attendees examined current issues regarding the organization of technological processes in pork production, their impact on animal productivity, the reproductive performance of the herd, and the formation of high-quality meat products.
Participants paid special attention to issues of effective feeding, pig housing conditions, technological aspects of rearing, and their significance for ensuring high production results. Additionally, the group discussed modern approaches to improving product quality and safety, which are important factors for the industry’s competitiveness.
Holding such scientific events promotes the exchange of experience, enhances professional knowledge, and advances research in livestock production technology.
