On September 18, 2025, postgraduate students of the Bio-technology Faculty – Anastasiia Belchenko, Vitalii Shved, Sofiia Yehorchenkova, and Tetiana Kuchkova –took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Directions in Genetic Improvement, Restoration, and Conservation of Biodiversity of Farm Animals”, held in the village of Chubynske, Boryspil District, Kyiv Region.
The conference was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the M.V. Zubets Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and the 100th anniversary of the birth of its first director, Volodymyr Nedavy.
Participants discussed current issues in the development of modern animal husbandry, methods for preserving biodiversity, and strategic directions for the genetic improvement of farm animals.
Participation of the faculty postgraduates in such events contributes to enhancing their scientific level, expanding professional knowledge, and establishing academic contacts with specialists from leading research institutions in Ukraine.
