PARTICIPATION IN THE WINTER SCHOOL FOR EDUCATORS

From January 5 to 7, 2026, Tetiana FOMENKO, Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages of SNAU, participated (remotely) in the All-Ukrainian Winter School “Competencies of the Future: Digital Tools and Psychological Resilience”.

The organizers of the Winter School were the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Educational Content Modernization”, the NGO “Agency for Sustainable Development and Educational Initiatives”, the Communal Institution “Prystolychnyi Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Staff” of the Prystolychna Village Council of the Boryspil District of the Kyiv Region, and the Shchaslyve Academic Lyceum of the Prystolychna Village Council.

The main goal of the Winter School was to promote the formation and development of key future competencies among participants, namely: mastering modern digital tools and technologies to increase the efficiency of professional activity and personal development; strengthening psychological resilience and forming self-regulation skills necessary for successful adaptation and effective operation in conditions of high uncertainty, dynamic changes, and constant information load.

The program of the Winter School was focused on two key areas that ensure the comprehensive development of modern specialists:

  1. Digital tools in education. This block is dedicated to the practical application of advanced technologies to increase the effectiveness of learning, teaching, and professional productivity (mastering AI-based tools for content generation and task personalization; using gamification and specialized platforms; cybersecurity and digital hygiene, and methods for preventing digital burnout).
  2. Psychological well-being and motivation. This block is aimed at developing inner strength, emotional intelligence, and self-regulation skills necessary for successful professional activity and strengthening psychological resilience (mastering practical techniques for recovery and adaptation to stressful and crisis situations; developing skills for managing one’s own emotions and effective interaction in a team; strategies for self-regulation and burnout management; leadership in action; creating a supportive environment; and well-being as a means of maintaining mental health).

The training took place in an interactive format using modern training approaches, masterclasses, webinars, networking, mentoring, and coaching.

The event supported the professional growth of educators by providing a certificate for 30 hours / 1 ECTS credit, in accordance with professional development educational programs for various profiles of educational activity, pursuant to the License of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
