OPEN PRACTICAL CLASS

On October 30, 2026, an open class of the discipline Foreign Language was conducted by Anastasiia LIEBIEDIEVA, Lecturer at the Foreign Languages Department, for the ADOR 2601 student group. The topic of the class was “Unit 2. Lesson C. How Can I Help?”

The aim of the class was to develop students’ proficiency in the language structures used for making, accepting, and refusing offers of help; to develop and enhance their foreign language communicative competence; to improve their oral communication skills; and to provide opportunities for the practical application of the material covered in everyday communication situations.

During the class, students worked with topic-related vocabulary and language structures associated with making, accepting, and refusing offers. Particular attention was paid to developing students’ ability to use appropriate expressions correctly, construct dialogues, and respond appropriately to various communicative situations.

The class incorporated a variety of teaching methods and instructional activities designed to ensure students’ active engagement in the learning process. Individual and communicative tasks contributed to the development of speaking skills, the ability to express personal opinions, and the ability to engage in conversations in English.

The class was conducted online via the Zoom platform and supported by an interactive multimedia presentation. The visual presentation of the learning materials, step-by-step completion of tasks, and provision of feedback contributed to better assimilation of the material and fostered active interaction between the lecturer and students.

The open class was aimed at developing students’ practical foreign language communication skills and their ability to use English in typical everyday situations. The integration of the communicative approach, interactive activities, and multimedia teaching tools ensured the practical orientation of the class and contributed to the achievement of its educational objectives.
