The event is organized by the Department of Genetics, Animal Breeding, and Biotechnology. The session will be conducted by Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Chekh on the topic: “Crustaceans as a Vital Link in Aquatic Ecosystems.”

This session is designed for undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and graduate (Master’s) students, as well as anyone interested in modern aspects of aquaculture production technology. We will explore key topics, including:
- The ecological and socio-economic importance of crustaceans.
- Diversity and biological characteristics of crustacean species.
- Their role in natural ecosystems and commercial aquaculture.
