In modern conditions, the issue of psychological support for students is of particular importance. Martial law, constant emotional stress, and stress factors affect the mental health of young people, so creating a safe and supportive educational environment is an important priority in the work of the faculty.
In this context, graduate students and students of the Faculty of Biology and Technology joined the university online seminar “Antibullying – from recognition to official response,” which was conducted by Olha SEMENIUK, a practical psychologist at Sumy National University of Science and Technology.
During the event, participants were introduced to the concepts of bullying, mobbing, and cyberbullying, their manifestations in the educational environment, as well as algorithms for official response in the event of such situations.
Participation in such initiatives is an important step towards forming a conscious, responsible, and cohesive academic community, in which respect, support, and psychological safety are constant values, even in today’s difficult conditions.
