ON-SITE GUEST LECTURE FOR STUDENTS OF THE SEPARATED SUBDIVISION “PUTYVL PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE OF SUMY NAU”

Tetiana KUCHKOVA, an assistant at the Department of Genetics, Animal Breeding, and Biotechnology, conducted an on-site guest lecture for first-year students of the specialty Н2 “Animal Husbandry” at the Separated Subdivision “Putyvl Professional College of Sumy NAU” on the topic: “Milk Production Technology for the Ukrainian Black-and-White Dairy Breed.”

The session took place on-site at a farm, allowing students to gain direct exposure to the technological processes of milk production, the specifics of animal housing, and the organization of feeding and milking procedures.

During the lecture, particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of working with this breed, the genetic and breeding characteristics of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy cattle, as well as modern approaches to increasing herd productivity.

Such events deepen students’ professional knowledge, develop practical skills, and popularize the livestock industry among young people.

Participation in such initiatives fosters high standards of academic writing and raises awareness among young researchers about the role of integrity as an essential component of modern science.
