On April 7, 2026, a meeting of the Young Scientists Council of the Faculty of Biology and Technology was held to discuss the development of research activities and the improvement of the quality of scientific publications.
The main focus was on writing articles for journals indexed in Scopus (Q1). Current research areas were discussed, particularly in the fields of poultry farming, dairy cattle breeding, animal nutrition, product safety, and sustainability. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of ensuring scientific novelty, the reliability of results, and their practical significance.
The Faculty Dean, Viktoriia Viktorivna Vechorka, attended the meeting and highlighted the importance of increasing the publication activity of young scientists and aligning research with the current challenges of the agricultural sector.
The issues of research relevance, academic integrity, and improving proficiency in scientific English were also reviewed separately.
Following the meeting, key priorities for further efforts to improve the quality of scientific research and publications were identified.
