On March 17, 2026, at 11:00, a guest lecture on the topic “Features of pig feeding in the conditions of modern technologies” was held for students of the Malyi Vystorop and Putyvl vocational colleges of the SNAU.
The lecturer was the head of the department, associate professor Viktor Opara, who introduced the audience to modern approaches to organizing pig feeding, the use of innovative technologies in pig farming, and current trends in the development of the industry.
During the lecture, the issue of compiling rations for different age groups of animals, the use of complete feed and premixes, as well as the implementation of automated feeding systems, were considered. Particular attention was paid to the impact of balanced feeding on the productivity and health of pigs.
The event was conducted as an online conference and generated active interest among students, who had the chance to ask questions and get professional answers.
