GUEST LECTURE FROM A CONSULTANT OF THE GERMAN COMPANY KARTZFEHN

On April 23, 2026, the Faculty of Biology and Technology hosted a guest lecture titled “Turkey Farming Using Intensive Technologies,” which became an important event for students, faculty, and anyone interested in modern approaches to poultry farming.

The lecturer was Yurii Liashenko, a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Technology and a consultant for the German company Kartzfehn, who shared his practical experience in the field of modern poultry farming and the implementation of effective technological solutions.

During the lecture, participants became acquainted with the specifics of intensive turkey farming technologies, modern production approaches, and requirements for poultry housing, feeding organization, microclimate management, and veterinary support. Special attention was paid to issues of increasing productivity, ensuring biosecurity, and effectively managing technological processes in industrial poultry farming.

The lecture enhanced students’ professional knowledge, developed a practical understanding of modern poultry production technologies, and offered insights into current industry trends. Participants had the chance to ask questions, discuss practical aspects of turkey farming, and receive expert advice from the guest speaker.
