GUEST LECTURE FOR STUDENTS OF SNAU COLLEGES

Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a guest lecture by a leading livestock scientist for students of its separate structural subdivisions.

On April 7, 2026, at 11:00, an online meeting was held with Leontii Khmelnychyi, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and Professor of the Department of Genetics, Breeding, and Animal Biotechnology.

Lecture Topic: “Assessment of dairy cattle breeds by conformation type.”

The event was organized for students of Malyi Vystorop Professional College of SNAU and Putivl Professional College of SNAU.

During the lecture, participants learned about modern methods for assessing the conformation of dairy cows, understood the importance of body structure for productivity and breeding efficiency, and explored practical ways to apply this knowledge in the livestock industry.

Lecturers and others interested in modern dairy cattle breeding also attended the event.
