On June 4, 2026, a meeting of the Speaking Club was held at the Sumy International College of the Henan Institute of Science and Technology.
Topic: “Binge-watching: fun or bad habit?”
The meeting was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Olha TAMARKINA.
Club participants discussed the impact of binge-watching on health, academic performance, social behavior, and emotional well-being. They categorized the positive and negative aspects of this phenomenon and suggested alternative forms of leisure. Students actively participated in the discussion, provided examples, and offered advice on how to prevent this behavior. The session took place in a friendly atmosphere, and the participants were very pleased with the meeting.
