On April 23, 2026, a session of the English-Speaking Club was held.
Topic: “Agricultural education worldwide.”
Moderator: Maryna Bilozerkovets, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
Club members learned about such visionaries and innovators of agricultural education as George Washington Carver and Masanobu Fukuoka. They explored how their philosophies influenced the creation of the Three-Circle Model (the gold standard of agricultural education that emerged in the United States) and Smart Agriculture in Japan (a unique model where advanced technologies are designed to solve the problem of severe resource shortages).
During the meeting, students participated in a quest focused on current trends in agricultural education and science, as well as the critical risks they must overcome. Participants also actively discussed the following questions:
- What are critical risks for Ukrainian agriculture?
- What strategies will help to overcome them?
- Which climatic risks do you know?
- What is youth drain?
- What is dual education in the agrarian sphere?
