On February 26, 2026, an extended meeting was held at the Faculty of Biology and Technology of Sumy National Agrarian University to discuss projects of educational programs in the specialty H2 “Animal Husbandry” at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels.
The event was attended by:
- members of project groups responsible for the development of educational programs;
- representatives of the expert council of employers, business representatives and employers;
- graduates and the academic community.
Igor VOSCHCHENKO – Association of livestock and poultry breeders of Sumy region, Oleksandr SVERDLIKOV – LLC “Chereshenki”, Nataliia BOZHKO – Sumy regional branch of the VGO “Cynological Union of Ukraine”, Oleksandr TYMCHENKO – MTK “Vitaliia”, Hanna PEREKRESTOVA – LLC “MVK “Ekaterynoslavsky”, Ksenia MOTORINA – agroholding MHP, Oleksiy SUSHKO – Institute of Animal Husbandry of the NAAS of Ukraine, Yuriy POLUPAN – Institute of Breeding and Genetics named after M.V. Zubets NAAS, Oleksandr BORDUN, Yuriy SKLIARENKO – Institute of Agriculture of the North-East of the NAAS.
During the discussion, drafts of updated educational programs were presented:
- First (bachelor’s) level:
- EPP “Technology of production and processing of livestock products”
- EPP “Cynology”
- Second (master’s) level:
- EPP “Technology of production and processing of livestock products”
- EPP “Cynology”
III. Third (educational and scientific) level:
- ENP “Technology of production and processing of livestock products”
The content, structure and expected learning outcomes were discussed. The participants expressed their professional comments and suggestions for improving the curricula so that they best meet the needs of the labor market and modern challenges of the agricultural sector.
At the end of the working meeting, the organizers emphasized the importance of such consultations as part of the process of ensuring the quality of education, because it is an active dialogue with stakeholders that makes educational programs relevant, practically oriented and competitive.
