Date and place of birth: December 1, 1968, Sumy, Ukraine.

Education

1986–1991 — Sumy Agricultural Institute, specialty “Animal Science,” qualification: zoo-engineer, diploma with honors.

2009 — Defended the Candidate of Sciences dissertation in the specialty 06.02.01 “Animal Breeding and Selection” on the topic “Evaluation of service dogs trained to detect narcotics and weapons.”

2022 — Awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor of the Department of Livestock Production and Processing Technologies and Cynology.

Professional Experience

1991–1992 — Category I livestock specialist at the “Ukraina” agricultural production association.

1992–1994 — Livestock specialist (kennel), “Biotekhnik” LLC.

1994–1996 — Head of the private animal lovers’ club “Asil.”

1999–2010 — Assistant, Department of Specialized Animal Science, SNAU.

Since 2011, organizer and head of distance-learning cynology courses of the All-Ukrainian NGO “Cynological Union of Ukraine.” Holds two copyright certificates for course methodology. In 2024, qualified as an expert in the accreditation of qualification centers of the National Qualifications Agency.

Research area: improving the technology of preparing dogs for service and evaluating their breeding and working qualities.

Grant, state-funded, and contract research: cooperation agreement with the All-Ukrainian NGO “Cynological Union of Ukraine” on training cynologists (No. 30-09-1 dated 30.09.2025); research project “Substantiation of international recognition of the Ukrainian Odis dog breed under the requirements of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI)” (contract No. 31-1 dated 31.01.2025).
