         In 1997 she graduated from H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv State Pedagogical University (specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature, and English”). From 1997 to 2009 she was working as an EFL Teacher at secondary schools, gymnasiums, Putivl Agricultural Technical School and Sumy Institute of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

2009-2018 – EFL Teacher at Foreign Languages Department at Sumy National Agrarian University.

2013-2017 – postgraduate student of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University.

In 2018 she defended the dissertation “Formation of future agrarians’ sociocultural competence in the process of Humanities study” (specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and Methods of Vocational Training).

September 2018 – March 2020 – Senior Lecturer of Foreign Languages Department at Sumy National Agrarian University.

In 2019 she was awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor of Foreign Languages Department.

 Since March 2020 she has been working as Associate Professor of Foreign Languages Department at Sumy National Agrarian University.

 2022 – participation in the IV International Professional Development Program “International Leadership in the XXI Century: Education, Science, Culture, Sports, Technology, Management and International Development” (February 18 – April 23, 2022) within the project International Historical Biographical Institute (Dubai – New York – Rome – Jerusalem – Beijing).

2022 – participation in teaching and research project: Module Erasmus+ Jean Monet “EU Strategies Extrapolation for Boosting Students’ Media Literacy in Ukrainian HE”.

Fomenko T. M. is a member of the editorial board of scientific journals “Educational Challenges” and “Astraea”, and a member of Public Organization “Scientific Center for Didactics of Management Education”.

             The main subjects she teaches: Ukrainian, Ukrainian as a foreign language, Foreign language (English).

 Areas of research: internationalization of higher agrarian education, intercultural communication, innovative foreign language learning technologies, media literacy.
