Date and place of birth: September 8, 1980, Sumy, Ukraine.

Education

1997–2001 — Sumy National Agrarian University, specialty “Zooengineering,” Bachelor’s degree with honors.

2001–2002 — Sumy National Agrarian University, specialty “Zooengineering,” Master’s degree with honors.

2008 — Defended the dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences on the topic “Formation of milk productivity in animals of different genotypes during the creation of the Sumy intra-breed type of the Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed” (specialty 06.02.01 – Animal Breeding and Selection).

2010 — Awarded the academic rank of Senior Researcher.

2019 — Defended the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences on the topic “Breeding and genetic aspects of preserving and improving the gene pool of Brown breeds of North-Eastern Ukraine” (specialty 06.02.01 – Animal Breeding and Selection).

Professional Experience

Since 2002 — Works at the Institute of Agriculture of the North-East of the NAAS as Senior Laboratory Assistant, Junior Researcher, Researcher, Senior Researcher, Head of the Laboratory of Livestock and Forage Production, and Academic Secretary.

2017–2022 — Senior Researcher, Sumy National Agrarian University (concurrent appointment).

Since 2020 — Associate Professor, Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Biotechnology, Sumy National Agrarian University (concurrent appointment).

Main courses taught: “Farm Animal Breeding and Fundamentals of Reproduction.”

Research Work

Author of over 100 publications, including over 20 articles in international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

Member of the Specialized Academic Council D 55.859.02 at Sumy National Agrarian University. Has repeatedly served as an official opponent at leading research institutions.
