Date and place of birth: November 14, 1973, village of Birky, Zmiiv District, Kharkiv Region.
Education
1990–1995 — Studied at Kharkiv Zooveterinary Institute, specialty “Animal Science.”
2004 — Obtained the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences in the specialty 06.02.01 – Animal Breeding and Selection.
2007 — Awarded the academic rank of Senior Researcher in the specialty 06.02.01 – Animal Breeding and Selection.
2015 — Defended the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the specialty 06.02.01 – Animal Breeding and Selection on the topic “Justification and practical implementation of methodological approaches to developing new and improving existing poultry populations.”
Professional Experience
1995–2019 — Worked at the Institute of Poultry Farming of the NAAS; held the position of Chief Researcher at the Department of Poultry Breeding and Genetics.
Currently: works at the Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Biotechnology, SNAU.
Research Work
Research area: breeding and selection of farm animals and poultry.
Author of 185 scientific publications and 1 utility model patent.
