On October 14, 2026, an open online meeting was held for higher education students and faculty as part of the “Robotization in Livestock Farming” course. The event brought together approximately 60 participants, including students, PhD candidates, researchers, and agricultural sector professionals.

The guest speaker was Oleh Anatoliiovych Chub, Doctor of Economic Sciences and founder of the innovative company “CHUB AGROCONCEPT.” Leading researchers from the university and colleges, as well as students, also joined the discussion.

Key topics covered included:

Robotic and automated solutions in real-world production: the speaker provided a detailed analysis of modernization examples and the operation of automated complexes and facilities (specifically NEUERO technological solutions), as well as the experience of implementing them at modern Ukrainian enterprises (in the Lubny district, Chernihiv region, etc.).

Digital herd monitoring and management: the session examined the operation of modern platforms and sensors (such as the SenseHub system), which enable real-time tracking of cow health, activity indices, rumination, feed intake, and the physiological parameters of individual animals.

Economic efficiency of innovations: participants reviewed calculations regarding the payback period for modern equipment, the reduction of the human factor’s impact, and ways to optimize production costs. An open dialogue with a practitioner: during a lively Q&A session, students had the opportunity to learn about the real-world challenges of modernizing Ukrainian farms in today’s environment and to receive valuable advice for their future careers.

We sincerely thank Oleh Anatoliyovych for his insightful and timely presentation, his practical perspective on industry development, and his willingness to share best practices with the students!
