The lecturer will be Prof. (Full) Dr. Teodora Popova, a leading researcher at the Laboratory of Fundamental Scientific Research in Animal Science (Institute of Animal Science, Kostinbrod, Bulgaria).

The lecture will cover modern approaches to using alternative protein sources in animal husbandry and present the results of research involving *Tenebrio molitor*.

Attending this guest lecture will provide students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge regarding modern approaches to using insects as a source of high-quality protein for human and poultry nutrition.
