On October 12, 2026, Olena Krekoten and Olha Tamarkina, lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages, held a career guidance meeting with schoolchildren from class 11-В of Sumy Specialized School No. 29 (Levels I–III).
During the meeting, the schoolchildren were introduced to the university’s majors and educational programs, the specifics of the admissions process, and prospects for professional development after graduation. Video materials were presented online to visually showcase the university and the educational opportunities it offers. This provided an opportunity to showcase the educational environment at SNAU, introduce students to the study conditions, and spark interest in learning more about the university’s activities.
Faculty members paid special attention to presenting the Faculty of Biology and Technology. Students were introduced to the faculty’s main fields of study, specializations, and educational programs, as well as the organization of the educational process and opportunities for acquiring practical professional competencies. Particular emphasis was placed on the relevance of the respective professions in today’s labor market, as well as on prospects for future employment and professional development for graduates.
The event helped disseminate information about SNAU among prospective students, supported their professional decision-making, and raised awareness regarding opportunities for continuing their education at the university.
