Report on the English Speaking Club Session

The latest session of the English Speaking Club took place online and was moderated by Maryna Bilotserkovets, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
Topic: The British Discourse Versus the Ukrainian One
During the session, participants discussed the following questions:
- What is discourse and how does it root in the language?
- What is reflected in proverbs and symbols of every nation?
- What do we know about the British?
- How do foreigners view Ukrainians, both in the past and nowadays?
Participants solved riddles, watched videos, completed an interactive quiz, and discussed the symbolism in contemporary views of different nations.
