On 10 April 2025, a regular meeting of the English Speaking Club took place.
The online session was moderated by Olga Tamarkina, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages.
The topic of the meeting was: “Music as a Universal Language and a Form of Self-Expression. Is Music Becoming Too Focused on Technology?”
During the session, participants discussed the following questions:
- What is the most important aspect of creating music?
- Does music depend on the situation or circumstances?
- Is it possible to create good music without inspiration?
- Do you write music yourself?
- What musical instrument can you play?
Key points of discussion included:
- Technology in music is neither entirely good nor bad.
- While it offers exciting possibilities, it is crucial to preserve the human element in music.
