Date and place of birth: July 28, 1962, Vyry village, Bilopillia district, Sumy region, Ukraine.

 

Education

1979–1984: Graduated from Sumy Branch of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute named after V.V. Dokuchaev, specialty 'Zooengineering'.

Professional Experience

1986–2004: Worked in the agricultural sector, progressing from livestock complex manager to head of the agricultural enterprise LLC AF 'Shpyli'.

2004–2005: Deputy Director of the Sumy State Breeding Center.

2005–2009: Assistant to the Rector and Head of the Training and Practice Center, Sumy National Agrarian University.

Since 2013: Vice-Rector for Educational, Scientific, Production Development and Administrative Affairs, Sumy National Agrarian University.

Since April 2, 2014: Senior Lecturer at the Department of Production and Processing Technology of Livestock Products.

Since September 1, 2017: Lecturer at the Department of Genetics, Breeding, and Biotechnology of Animals (currently Associate Professor, part-time).

 

Scientific Degree:

In 2019, defended a PhD thesis at Mykolayiv National Agrarian University on the topic: 'Optimization of Technological Elements for Housing Weaned Piglets under Industrial Pork Production Technology' (specialty 06.02.04 – Technology of Livestock Production).

 

Scientific Achievements

As of 2021, authored 27 scientific papers on the topic of optimizing piglet housing in industrial pork production systems.

 

Scientific Focus

Improvement of existing and development of new technical-technological solutions for industrial pork production technologies, as well as the creation of spatial-planning designs for modern pig farms based on these technologies.
