Recently, on February 13, 2025, teachers and graduate students of the Faculty of Biology and Technology visited the international agro-industrial exhibition AgroAnimalShow 2025, which was held at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv.
The event, organized by Kyiv International Contract Fair LLC, is a key event for livestock specialists, where the latest technologies in feeding, veterinary medicine and keeping farm animals are presented.
The teachers got acquainted with the stands dedicated to genetics and animal breeding, where modern methods of improving breeds and increasing animal productivity were presented. They also visited the expositions on the mechanization of livestock complexes, where innovative equipment for automating processes on farms was demonstrated.
Special attention was paid to communication with manufacturers of equipment for pig farms, discussing new solutions for optimizing production, improving housing conditions and increasing the efficiency of pig farms.
During the exhibition, the faculty representatives had the opportunity to get acquainted with new developments in the field of animal feeding, modern technologies for livestock care and management systems for agricultural enterprises. Special attention was also paid to the issues of improving productivity and efficiency of feed use, which is relevant for the educational process and scientific research of the faculty.
The visit was an important step in strengthening ties between science and agribusiness, which will contribute to the training of specialists capable of applying the latest technologies in the production of livestock products and will allow introducing innovations into the educational process and scientific research of the faculty.
