The Faculty of Biology and Technology of the Sumy National Agrarian University (SNAU) held a joint initiative with the stakeholder of the educational and professional program “Technologies in Aquaculture” – FOP Vasylenko R.A. Cooperation is carried out within the framework of the international project AFISHE, which is aimed at the development of aquaculture and support of modern research in this field. During the implementation of the project, the equipment of the educational and practical laboratory was used, which was obtained thanks to the funding of the international program Erasmus+. Through the joint efforts of scientists of the faculty and representatives of FOP Vasylenko R.A., measurements of water quality indicators in reservoirs were carried out, as well as a detailed assessment of fish breeding conditions. The research results contribute to increasing the efficiency of production in aquaculture, adapting technologies to modern environmental standards and improving product quality. Such initiatives not only strengthen the connection between science and business, but also create new opportunities for students in practical training and realizing their professional potential. SNAU is grateful to its partners for their active cooperation and looks forward to further joint projects that will contribute to the development of the aquaculture industry and the training of highly qualified specialists.
