Date and place of birth: November 22, 1979, Sumy, Ukraine.

Education

1997–2002 — Studied at A. S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University, specialties “English and French Languages and World Literature” and “German Language and Literature.”

2012–2016 — Postgraduate studies at A. S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University, specialty “Theory and Methods of Professional Education.”

2017 — Defended the dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.04 “Theory and Methods of Professional Education” on the topic “Developing theoretical knowledge of agricultural students in the process of studying the humanities.”

Professional Experience

1999–2006 — Lecturer of English and French, Sumy Cooperative Technical School.

Since 2006 — Head of the Methodological Office, Lecturer of English and German, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Department of Foreign Languages, Sumy National Agrarian University.

Main courses taught: “Foreign Language,” “Foreign Language for Specific Purposes,” “Methods of Preparing Academic Papers in a Foreign Language,” “German for PhD Students,” “Methodology and Organization of Research Using a Foreign Language.”

Research Work

Research area: internationalization of higher education, media literacy, use of ICT in foreign language teaching.

Grants: coordinator of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module “EU strategies extrapolation for boosting students’ media literacy in Ukrainian HE” (101094334 – EUSELENA – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH; 2022–2025).

Professional Development
