On 29 October 2026, at 11:00 a.m., a guest lecture was delivered online for students of Malovystorop Vocational College on the topic “The Use of Software for Formulating and Optimising Cattle Diets.”
The lecture was delivered by Viktor OPARA, Associate Professor at the Department of Fodder Technology and Animal Feeding of Sumy National Agrarian University.
The lecture addressed the current capabilities of specialised software for formulating and optimising cattle diets. Particular attention was paid to the principles of balancing diets in terms of nutritional value, meeting animals’ requirements for energy and essential nutrients, and improving feed utilisation efficiency.
The event contributed to enhancing students’ professional knowledge, familiarising them with modern digital tools used in animal production, and developing practical competencies essential for their future professional careers.
The guest lecture represented an important step towards strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and integrating students’ theoretical training with contemporary practical approaches to farm animal nutrition.
