On September 29, 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages held a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic “An Interdisciplinary Approach to Training Specialists: Methodological Possibilities and Practical Solutions.”
Speakers were Associate Professor Olha TAMARKINA and Senior Lecturer Yurii KAZANTSEV.
During the seminar, emphasis was placed on the fact that modern professional training requires not only a thorough mastery of knowledge within individual disciplines, but also the ability to integrate knowledge, skills, and practical experience to solve complex professional challenges.
Seminar participants discussed the interdisciplinary approach as one of the key means of improving the quality of professional training. It was emphasized that the effectiveness of interdisciplinary education depends to a large extent on the alignment of educational programs, the methodological training of instructors, a shared vision of learning outcomes, and the use of practice-oriented teaching methods. It was noted that implementing this approach requires aligning the content of educational components, coordinating faculty activities, using integrated assignments, and creating learning situations that closely resemble real-world professional conditions.
