On June 11, 2026, a Speaking Club meeting was held at the Sumy International College of the Henan Institute of Science and Technology.
The topic of the event: “The art of better decision making”
The meeting was conducted by Olha TAMARKINA, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the importance of decision-making, the factors that influence it. Also, an assessment was given of what is the right and wrong decision; why we think so; whether emotions affect decision-making. The students gave examples from their own experience.
The meeting was active and interesting. The students improved their English communication skills, enriched their vocabulary and learned how quickly and correctly to make decisions that help them act more effectively and confidently move forward.
