FACULTY MEMBERS OF THE FACULTY OF BIOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGY HAVE COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

From March 17 to April 17, 2026, the Sumy National Agrarian University successfully hosted a professional development course titled “Digital Literacy for Higher Education Lecturers,” aimed at improving the professional competencies of academic staff and strengthening the university’s human resource potential.

The 30-hour training course (1 ECTS credit) covered topical issues of the digitalization of the educational process, the use of modern digital tools in teaching, the organization of distance learning, academic integrity, and digital communication within the educational environment.

Lectures and practical sessions were conducted by the university’s leading academic staff, as well as invited experts who shared modern approaches and practical experience in using digital technologies in higher education.

More than 50 young lecturers from all faculties of the university participated in the course, which facilitated professional dialogue, the exchange of experience, and the formation of new practical skills.

Upon completion of the training, the participants received professional development certificates, and the university gained additional opportunities for the further development of its professional and academic potential.

The implementation of this course confirms the Sumy National Agrarian University’s commitment to the systematic development of lecturers’ professional excellence and the integration of modern digital approaches into the educational process. The knowledge and practical skills acquired will serve as a reliable foundation for further professional growth, innovative activities, and the improvement of the quality of training for higher education students.

We wish the course participants inspiration, creative energy, successful application of the skills they’ve gained in their teaching and scientific work, professional growth, and new opportunities for self-improvement for the benefit of the university and Ukrainian education as a whole!
