Scientific and pedagogical workers of the Faculty of Biology and Technology of Sumy National Agrarian University joined the celebration of the World Vyshyvanka Day – a holiday that unites Ukrainians around national traditions, culture and spiritual heritage.
On this day, the faculty teachers wore traditional Ukrainian vyshyvankas, demonstrating respect for folk customs, national identity and centuries-old traditions of the Ukrainian people. Vyshyvanka is not only an element of clothing, but also a symbol of unity, strength of spirit, patriotism and indomitability of Ukrainians.
Every year, the staff of the Faculty of Biology and Technology supports initiatives aimed at preserving and popularizing Ukrainian culture, because it is through traditions that the national consciousness of youth is formed and the connection between generations is strengthened.
Participation in the celebration of Vyshyvanka Day became another manifestation of the unity of the faculty community, love for their native culture and respect for Ukrainian traditions.
