On May 14, 2026, a meeting of the German-speaking conversation club was held.
The moderator of the event was Yulia SHCHERBINA, senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages.
The topic of the meeting: “Mein Wohnort und meine Wohnung”.
The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to actively practice their oral skills in German.
During the meeting, students talked about their native cities and villages, described their houses and apartments, favorite rooms, furniture and home atmosphere.
Special attention was paid to the topics of life in the city and the countryside, the advantages and disadvantages of different types of housing, as well as the discussion of “Dream Apartments”.
Students actively worked in pairs, composed dialogues, and answered questions.
Participants also performed lexical exercises aimed at consolidating thematic vocabulary and developing communication skills.
Among the questions that aroused the greatest interest were the following:
- Where do you live?
- How does your apartment look like?
- Which room do you like the most?
- Would you rather live in the city or in the country?
- How does your dream apartment look like?
The meeting took place in a warm, positive and creative atmosphere.
The students participated with interest in the discussions, supported each other in completing the tasks and actively communicated in German.
