On March 25, 2026, academic staff from the Faculty of Biology and Technology participated in a webinar titled “Trends in Modern Rabbit Farming,” dedicated to current issues in the development of the livestock industry and the training of highly qualified specialists.
The event was organized in partnership with the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Pre-Higher Education” and the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
The purpose of the webinar was to identify strategic vectors for training competitive livestock specialists by integrating modern labor market requirements and implementing innovative technologies for housing, feeding, and reproduction.
Participants explored key aspects of the rabbit farming industry and gained practical knowledge in the following areas:
- The current market structure and the state of rabbit meat production;
- Essential elements of modern industrial technology in rabbit farming;
- Technological schemes for rabbit rearing;
- Stages and quality control of artificial insemination in rabbits;
- Adapting theoretical knowledge to educational/professional standards and labor market needs;
- The use of digital technologies in the livestock sector.
Participation in this webinar helped improve attendees’ professional skills, broaden their understanding of current industry trends, and support the adoption of innovative methods in both educational and production processes.
