On March 20, 2026, teachers of the Faculty of Biology and Technology took part in the webinar “Modern Dairy Cattle Breeding. Education, Science, Business”, which brought together scientists, educators and industry representatives.
The event was organized with the support of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education and the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
The goal of the webinar was to create a platform for an open dialogue between education, science and business, aimed at introducing innovative technologies into dairy cattle breeding, improving the quality of specialist training and ensuring the competitiveness of the industry in modern economic conditions.
The speaker of the event was Serhiy Ruban, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAAS of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Applied Biology, Animal Breeding and Genetics.
During the webinar, topical issues of dairy cattle breeding development, modern approaches to animal breeding and genetics, as well as prospects for the integration of science, education and production were considered.
The participation of faculty teachers in such events contributes to improving their professional level, introducing modern knowledge into the educational process and strengthening ties with the scientific community and representatives of agrarian business.
