On February 10, 2026, Leontii Mykhailovych Khmelnychyi, Professor at the Department of Genetics, Breeding, and Animal Biotechnology, together with PhD student Anastasiia Belchenko, visited LLC “Komyshuvatskyi Dairy Complex” as part of their research for the dissertation.
During the visit, they collected and analyzed production data and familiarized themselves with the specifics of breeding work, as well as the technologies for housing and feeding cattle. Special attention was paid to the issues of the herd’s genetic potential, the effectiveness of breeding programs, and the implementation of modern biotechnological approaches in dairy farming.
The cooperation between the department and LLC “Komyshuvatskyi Dairy Complex” contributes to combining theoretical achievements with practical production, improving the quality of scientific research, and training highly qualified specialists in the field of animal husbandry.
