Academic staff and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Biology and Technology actively participated in several scientific, educational, and professional online events aimed at enhancing qualifications, integrating modern educational technologies, and promoting the principles of academic integrity.
- Oleksandr Chekh (Department of Genetics, Animal Breeding and Biotechnology) took part in the webinar “Academic Integrity and Research Ethics in the Era of Open Science”, which focused on transparency and ethical standards in research activities.
- Oleksandr Mykhalko (Department of Fodder Technology and Animal Feeding) participated in the same webinar, dedicated to relevant aspects of transparency and ethical norms in science.
- Tetiana Kuchkova (postgraduate student, Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology) also joined the webinar “Academic Integrity and Research Ethics in the Era of Open Science”.
- Anastasiia Belchenko (postgraduate student, Technology of Production and Processing of Animal Products and Cinology Department) attended three thematic webinars: “AI Academy for Educators by Google”, “Innovation Education: Approaches of Non-Formal Learning and Innovations for Ukrainian HEIs”, and “The Complete Truth about SCOPUS Q1–Q2 Publications in 2025”. The webinars addressed the digitalization of education, innovative teaching practices, and up-to-date requirements in scientific communication.
- Sofiia Yehorchenkova (postgraduate student, Technology of Production and Processing of Animal Products and Cinology Department) participated in the seminars “Research Integrity: First Steps into the Topic” and “Education: New Skills – New Professions”, aimed at developing modern competencies in research and education.
- Liudmyla Bula (Technology of Production and Processing of Animal Products and Cinology Department) acted as an organizer of a seminar for participants of the “Dog Breeder-Cynologist” courses held by the Cynological Union of Ukraine (June 2025), providing a platform for discussion of current trends and practices in cynology.
The active involvement of academic staff in such events contributes to raising the level of professional training, implementing advanced educational strategies, strengthening partnerships, and shaping a high-quality scientific and educational environment within the faculty.
