On April 30, 2025, another session of the English Speaking Club was held. The meeting was moderated by Senior Lecturer Olga Volodymyrivna Berestok from the Department of Foreign Languages.
The topic of the session was: “You and Your Personality in Modern Circumstances. How to Provide a Safe Educational Environment.”
During the meeting, participants discussed the following questions:
- What is a personality?
- Do you know your personality?
- What positive personality traits can you name?
- What are your positive personality traits?
- What negative personality traits do you know?
- Do you have any negative ones?
- What traits predominate in your personality?
- What are “The Big 5 personality traits”?
- How do you understand the term “safe educational environment”?
- Why is it necessary to establish it in the educational institution?
- Do you think that awareness of your personality can promote its establishment? Why?
At the end of the session, participants concluded that:
- Creating a safe educational environment is crucial for fostering learning, growth, and well-being among students and educators.
- Personal qualities of teachers, administration, and students play a significant role in establishing such an environment.
- By emphasizing personal traits within the educational community, institutions can create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe, respected, and understood, thereby enhancing the quality of education.
