Report on the Speaking Club Session

The online meeting was moderated by Victoria TOKMAN, lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages.
Topic: Causes and Effects of Climate Change
Format: Discussion, debate, practical tasks
During the session, participants discussed the following questions:
- What is global warming?
- What examples of global warming do you know?
- What causes climate change?
- Do you think the Earth will continue to get warmer?
- Do you worry about what could happen in the future?
The session took place in a friendly atmosphere, where participants were actively involved in discussions and expressed their opinions. The interactive exercises used not only helped develop speaking skills but also increased students’ awareness of ecological issues in today’s world.
