He was born on July 28, 1962 in the village of Vortexes of Bilopolsky district, Sumy region.
In 1979-1984, he studied at the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv Agricultural Institute named after V.V. Dokuchaev, received the specialty "zooengineer".
1986-2004 - worked in production, working his way up from the head of the complex to the head of the agricultural enterprise Shpyli LLC.
2004-2005 – Deputy Director of the Sumy State Selection Center.
2005-2009 – assistant to the rector and head of the educational and practical center of the Sumy NAU.
Since 2013, vice-rector for educational, scientific and industrial issues of development and administrative and economic activity until now.
Since 04/02/2014, he has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Animal Production and Processing Technology, and since 09/01/2017 - at the Department of Animal Genetics, Breeding and Biotechnology. Currently, he is a part-time associate professor of the department.

The direction of scientific research: improvement of existing and development of new technical and technological solutions of industrial technologies of pork production and development of volume-planning solutions of modern pig enterprises based on them.
